• Disability Program
  The State’s disability program is managed by The Hartford. It offers income protection in case of a short or long term disability.*
  
  – Our Short-Term Disability pays a benefit of 75% of your earnings up to $2000 a month for 182 days.
  
  – Our Long-Term Disability pays a benefit of 60% of your earnings up to $8000 a month from the 183rd day until you are no longer disabled or turn 65.
  
  *To be eligible an employee must be in a position covered by the Delaware State Employee Pension Plan.
